In addition, the Foundation only grants requests to public charities (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States) in good standing with the IRS. These charities are classified as 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1)or(2) organizations according to the code. We will not consider requests from the following entities:
The Trustees of the Foundation typically meet on a quarterly basis. The deadline for submitting requests, by quarter, is as follows:
Due to the volume of requests that the Foundation receives, grant proposals submitted after the respective deadline will not be considered until the following quarterly meeting. As a result, we encourage early submission of grant requests, as many require additional follow-up in order to fully understand the nature, scope and implementation strategy of the request.
